The Departement Ariège, for example, has the most routes for mountain bikers in Midi-Pyrenees and features the first Pyrenees crossing officially recognized by the French Cycling Federation (Fédération Française de Cyclisme). This tour is 223 km long and has twelve stages. Altogether there are six recognized long-distance hiking trails for off-road cyclists.
Mountainbiking has become my passion and so I travel through Europe and sometimes even further to ride the trails and explore the beautiful sceneries that go along with it.
